No-bake 4 ingredient Chocolate Peanut butter cups

Without a doubt, my favorite candy has to be Reese's Peanut butter cups!
Chocolate and Peanut butter is one of my most loved food combinations (yes I consider this a food group 😅).

Sometimes I get these random cravings for PB cups but not all the time do I have Reese's on hand.

So, to satisfy my sweet tooth, I decided to create a small batch recipe for no-bake 4 ingredient Chocolate Peanut butter cups!

This recipe makes 3 regular sized PB cups or 2 regular sized + 2 minis.

The things you will need:
- Regular or mini cupcake pan
- Paper cupcake liners
- 1/4 chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet or dark)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions:

Combine vegetable oil and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and pop in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until melted. Make sure to stir the chocolate after every 30-second interval.

While the chocolate is melting, mix the peanut butter with the powdered sugar in a small bowl until combined.

Both ingredients should look like the picture below. Set aside for the chocolate to cool and line cupcake pans.

For this recipe, I made 2 regular sized and 2 minis.
NB: If you don't have a cupcake pan, try using aluminium cupcake liners. They should be able to hold its shape. Place them in a little bowl or baking tray for ease of movement.

Distribute half of the melted chocolate into the cupcake liners and using a small teaspoon, gently spread the chocolate halfway up the sides of the liners.

Left liner- smeared up the sides. Right liner- Chocolate distributed, awaiting smear
Now place pans to chill in the freezer for 5 minutes. Chocolate should change from a glossy to matte finish. After 5 minutes, evenly distribute peanut butter mixture into the 4 molds and cover with remaining chocolate (tapping the pan to ensure smooth top). Place back into the freezer for 15 minutes to complete.

Dampen fingers with water and use to flatten mixture or use a wet teaspoon

The wait is definitely worth it! Eat two and save two for later or go ahead and eat all in one sitting... I won't judge 😉

Gently peel off the paper liners. If your kitchen is warm like mine, keep the final product refrigerated.

Happy No-Baking!
xx
